If you need kid friendly vacations, find one who can get great deals on the places families like to go. If you’re gay or lesbian, find an agency that understands GLBT consumers.

Some travel agents may have better knowledge of overseas travels than others, so certainly, you want that consumer advocate when you travel abroad. It’s pretty rare that you’d get caught up in a vacation scam if you’re using the right agent.
